  11. I  was told that this guy had released
  12. a  CD  and  a  good  one  too.   I can
  13. imagine!   I  have listened to quite a
  14. few  of this guy's songs and find them
  15. very  attractive.  The samples may not
  16. be  very  clear  and  some tunes get a
  17. lower  profile  due  to  the  lack  of
  18. leadinstruments,  but when it comes to
  19. the  melody,  he  is  the  best of all
  20. 'musicians'  involved  on  Amiga.   He
  21. knows  what he is doing, what music is
  22. all about.  The feeling in some of his
  23. tunes  are very complex and I bet that
  24. this  guy  could  be big if he got the
  25. right chances.

  27. The   drums   generally   keep  a  low
  28. profile,   with  almost  no  solos  or
  29. fill-ins  that  often tend to fail.  I
  30. think  he  is aware of that.  The bass
  31. follows  the  chords/voices  very good
  32. and  gives  the  melody an extra kick.
  33. Sometimes,  when  the  melody  is  not
  34. present,  he gives the bass some extra
  35. melody  which  creates  a more complex
  36. sound.   The  accords  are maybe a bit
  37. simple  in  some  songs,  but they are
  38. nice  arranged  in  different  samples
  39. that often are good looped.

  45. say that the follow-up is released and
  46. if  it's true I'll be the first to lay
  47. my  hands  on it!  Okay, talking about
  48. his  Amiga-career  I  must  agree with
  49. Andreas  that  his  tunes are complex,
  50. but I think that they sometimes aren't
  51. as  worked  through  as they could be.
  52. He  composes  wonderful melodies, even
  53. if he tends to make the songs too long
  54. so  that  you find the melodies boring
  55. in the end.
